Where to eat and drink on North Uist

The exceptionally clean Outer Hebridean sea is home to our fishermen and their catch is superb quality and highly sought after. Whilst the vast majority of fish caught locally is exported to France and Spain, visitors to the Island have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of local seafood while it is at its freshest. There is also fantastic local wild venison and Machair fed lamb and beef which has a wonderful flavour. Below is some information on where to buy food and options for eating out. Please book ahead for evening meals during the summer months.
