One of the best place for wild swimming in the UK?

There is something wonderful about swimming in a clear turquoise sea surrounded by birds overhead and fish shimmering in the sea below. We are lucky to have swum in some wonderful spots in the UK but our favourite place to swim is still the beautiful bay beside our cottage.

The white sandy beach arcs around the bay which is safe and free from strong currents. Wildlife is all around - the Eider ducks swim close by and their calls travel across the bay, waders and geese fly overhead and otters cross the bay to the rocky areas to fish.

From April to October we have enjoyed swimming without wetsuits and within 5 minutes of walking out of the sea we can be in a hot shower or bath!

Totally invigorating!
